Samsung should make a comeback of removable batteries in the S25 series so that people can skip S26 or all later generations :D

I'm waiting for the S25 Ultra to see if it will be light enough to carry around. If not, I'll grab the iPhone 16 Pro and call it a day for the next six years, at least. I've been waiting for Samsung to release something similar to the Pixel Pro/iPhone Pro line with a 6.3" size and all of the features of the Ultra for a while now, but it seems moot at this point. There's even rumors they may drop the vanilla S tier after they dropped the 11" version of their tablets. So glad I already just bought the tab S9 for $445 from UAE.
Anonymous, 5 hours agoNooo, global will get the inferior version of again for the same price.Guess it will be only 3rd world country because they would have no say in this while the 1st world and more developed countries are more picky they will offer them the best for the same price. So the poorer are sponsoring the richer in this context.

A collective groan was heard around the world.
In other words, skip the S26 lineup entirely.

We customers should always expect products to become actually better.

Yeah, because they have to, Exynos is what EU usually gets, so if you want an S series phone here you will likely have to settle for such mediocre chipsets for high prices.
Exynos chipset on flagship means the device will not support Android games that require only latest Snapdragon versions to run the game. Like always Exynos will have limitations like it's predecessors.
Then time to consider apple if the exnos is not much better than snap....
Samsung S serie is so devoid of improvement since S22 that the only difference people are interested in is its processor. Pathetic

I can fully understand that they want to use their own stuff as it makes for a larger profit margin. Samsung chips have always been a mixed bag, not bad but not good or extraordinary either. Sales also reflect that people buy these phones, even if it's not equipped with SD or Mediatek stuff so not everyone is looking for the best beast with the best performances available. I had also similar experiences with the Samsung chips. Some were good, some were horrible but the experience also depends on how the OS is optimised and while One UI is much better that what Samsung had in the past, it's far from the most lightweight and fluid OS. For that alone I'm curious to see how well (or bad) One UI 7 will fare. I really hope it will be much smoother so that it requires less resources from the hardware (will probably not happen with all the AI bullshit with no or limited added value...gimmicks).

I mean have you seen the lack of improvements in the regular and Plus S models outside SoC refresh?
