Anonymuss, 1 hour agoLooked weird already without the 3.5mm jack alright!Wait for Apple to bring back the headphone jack and everyone will follow. Such is the world we live in.
TP, 58 minutes agoThis is how apple do marketing and always be in news, at this point no one knows how final pro... moreAnd Apple doesn’t have to do anything. All the gullible tech bloggers are doing the marketing for them.
Apple are great for looks, but the idea they are any good at ergonomics is laughable as even the current iPhone series are not at all designed for easy comfortable non-lens fouling horizontal use, & the recent flood of negative comments about the useability of the new shutter buttons on the 16 series bear this out.
Besides, if you have a Studio or Mac Mini of recent vintage, they are difficult even to find the button to turn them on, and the ports, and the lack and deletion of them, are very difficult of access if your Mac is front-facing, on a desk next to the wall. They are only operable really if the PC is on a table in the middle of the room, as in an office, etc.
The very idea they could have even produced a single mockup, determinedly different to the Pixel and hence unusable says it all.
The CORRECT placement for lenses is aligned vertically in the centre of the phone, as was the common practice before the quad-pixel era. It is so much better for panning when working and for making sweep panoramas, as you rotate on the natural axis of the phone.
Ideally the lenses should be in the centre of the back of the phone to allow comfortable horizontal use with either hand , but look at the iPhones with their lenses jammed up into a corner as though they are of less importance than the battery... not good, as any left-handed person will tell you. A left-handed person needs to abandon use of the shutter button entirely and hold the camera horizontally upside-down to cope!
Its nice tho
This is how apple do marketing and always be in news, at this point no one knows how final product will look like. but definitely there will be camera button, Titanium for pro and apple says all its phone going forward capable of spatial video which required side by side camera.
This is how apple do marketing and always
The ultimate Among Us phone!
I know I've rattling about iPhone's over usage of their camera bump design for the past 5 years, but when I wanted to see a new design, I most certainly did not mean a hybrid between a Pixel and an iPhone, like.... 💀 What the heck is that?
How is this possible? Or does this mean that future spatial videos are to be taken in portrait instead of landscape? Seems weird. Maybe they are confused this with a different OEM?
Apple's individuality complex is showing again, trying so hard to be different from the Pixels, even though there is zero reason to have the island that high. Also, when did cameras get this big? It would've looked better if the entire island was smaller.
So rumours were right about Timmy being a Google AI Robot.
it seems like Apple would use this new design to promote newer Magsafe accessories. Just compare this with the current iPhone's design. The 17 Pro rear design will have WAYY more room to fit a bigger Magsafe accessories, which would be incompatible with older iPhone. Hence, more money for Apple.

ew.. what's that thing, I wouldn't be caught in public with that design even if apple will pay me ..lol
It looks like a defected baby between a pixel and a galaxy .... It looks like someone from the design team licked the cameras off a galaxy and spat it horizontally so it looks like a pixel ... WTF
iPixel 17 Pro
Jokes apart, this actually looks good. Finally something new
