I actually had Fold gen 1 and later Fold 3 without issues but i wanted something smaller so i bought Flop 5 which had this screen bubbling problem.

Many people who has this problem just remove the screen protector but it will void the warranty according to Samsung.

Snapdragon for Z Fold and Exynos for Z Flip is a good idea. Most Z Flip owners don't care much about performance and productivity, unlike Z Fold owners.

I loved folding flip 5 because it was so small when folded but if i would have know those issues i would just bought normal slab phone.

It's a flip-phone. I couldn't care less about the chip, what's more important is to finally get updated cameras

But yes, that's the special feature of those kind of screens. But at least you got the screen fixed. After one ui 6.0 Samsung refused to replace the screens their update ruined with burn-in (s21, s22 series), even though Samsung knew they did a mistake in the update by turning off pixel switch. Oppo ruined oneplus, so that's another waste of money.

I went to change the screen protector under warranty and they said Samsung will have to accept that it will be under warranty and it will be only 1(!) time in first year, then you will have to pay(and if there is no Samsung screen protector warranty is lost).

At least i got it changed under warranty and then i sold Flop 5 and bought Oneplus 12.

samsung should start selling their Exynos to Hauwei or other companies only then people will start knowing how it is.

If they can lower the price back to 999 with this move, it's fine. Otherwise, perhaps not.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2024Kirin and tensynos are even worse. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Crappynos 2500 maybe be on pair with 8g2. Huawei's kirin is doing fantastic for being wrongfully banned from using western/global parts because of the US's tyrannical attack on free market tech capitalism. And have you even looked at Exynos vs Snapdragon benchmarks? Exynos can match and even sometimes beat its respective Snapdragon rival, particularly in you tests. Plenty of benchmark and real-world stats from other sources like AA, Note book check, and xda prove this.

You know what's so great about rumors?

They are rumors until they are not.

No matter the type of device or brand.

Until it comes out, I just don't believe it.

Because too many times stuff ended up being fake, even the "last minute leaks".

Time will tell how this will end up, but I don't expect Samsung to use 2500 in the main Flip, maybe the FE but even with that I have my doubts.

Because while the performance of 2400 is pretty good for what it is.

Efficiency, battery life and modem are not.

And the first two matter a lot in a foldable.
