Smarter, Faster Tooltips

We’ve rebuilt the tooltip system from the ground up. Now, when you hover over any icon, you’ll see instant, clear explanations of what that tool does—no more guessing or trial and error.

Performance Enhancements for Large Projects

For users who import hundreds—or even thousands—of images into a project, this update brings significant performance improvements. Fundy Designer now runs more efficiently than ever, even with high-volume image sets.

Additional Updates

This release also includes a few smaller improvements:

• Easily edit “Design For Me” presets

• A new Premium Labs section has been added

• Text settings now remember your last-used preferences

Step 1 – Apply One-Click Skin Retouching

Clients like to see their images already retouched, and they sell better. The most accurate and subtle retouching option is the “Intelligent Retouch.” Start with this; it looks amazing. If you don’t like it, you can remove it in one click or add a different preset option or customize to your own preference.

Step 2 – Tag Your Favorites

At the next step, remember that you can exit the Design For Me, make some awesome picks, and then return. Our most powerful users find it helpful to tag images for wall art and cards with 5 stars, as well as tag the album cover photo and any photos intended for panoramas.

Step 3 – Choose Engagement In the Design For Me

Choose Engagement in the Design for Me panel and we’ll design and album, wall art, some save-the-date cards and a slideshow for you. You can choose your album company and album size later. And remember, any card designs you’ve downloaded from the Design Library? We’ll design them for you. 

Step 4 – Use the Auto Design and Your Designs Are Done!

With just one click you have the perfect engagement album, multiple wall art collections, and card designs for your show off and offer to your client. 

Step 5 – Use the Slideshow Created for You

Slideshows basically do the selling for you. Creating a slideshow with all of your designs is one of the easiest things to do in Fundy Designer. Here’s a great place to start. Remember to include music in your slide show – it’s proven to increase sales! Once you have your slideshow, present your finalized designs to your clients. You can do this in person, over Zoom, or by uploading the slideshow to a Proof for your clients to share online.

Step 6 – IPS Tools

Don’t forget, your Fundy Designer IPS tools are ready and waiting for you. Need to create an IPS order form and have your clients sign it online? Fundy Designer can automatically generate one for you.

How To Import:

1. Step 1 – Select Frame Prints as Your Wall Art Type
2. Step 2 – Click On the Frames Icon
3. Step 3 – Click the Import Frames Button

Next choose to import a single frame, multiple frames or a single frame file to import all frames from a lab.

New Easy Organization

Now it is also easier to organize your frames. All frame sets will be tagged with the print lab. Additionally, right click on any frame to add tags. For example, tag all of your black frames or tag them based on price categories. It’s up to you. 

Mix Frames with Other Wall Art Types:

If you would like to mix Frames and other types of wall art together on the same wall, Choose mixed as your media type.

Users Can Import Frames

Fundy Designer is set up so users can import whatever frames they would like into Fundy Designer to use in their sales process.

Click here to see the support manual on how to add a frame.

Providing Your Frames

To provide your frames to Fundy customers, you need to create JPEGs of each frame edge. The length of the edge is not important, approximately 300-400px tall is recommended. The edge must be in vertical orientation with the outside of the frame facing right.

You should include the width of the frame in the file name with an underscore preceding it. See the example above.

Naming the Files

Be sure to name the files like this

Frame Name_0.50in.jpg where you have the frame name and then the frame size in INCHES or CM.

Just send use the files and we’ll make them live.

Hosting

We will host all of your frame files on our website. Users will be prompted to download frames in our frame importer.
